Pak Serak (1783-1885)

Pak Victor de Thouars (Lineage-holder)
Mark Green (only authorized trainer in Australia)

The current lineage-holder of Pak Serak’s system is Pak Victor de Thouars. His student, Australian martial artist Mark Green, is now the only authorized person in Australia to teach Serak.

Guru Dan Inosanto is also a senior in the Serak system. Inosanto personally trained with Bruce Lee back in the 1960s and is today best known as an expert on Filipino martial arts and Jeet Kune Do. Guru Dan Inosanto is a pioneer for Serak and promotes Serak in his academy in California, USA, and in international seminars. He trains weekly with Pak de Thouars.

Pentjak Silat Serak

Discover the underlying principles at the core of Serak’s deadly effectiveness. Shrouded in secrecy for over 200 years, Serak involves a deep understanding of the human anatomy. Empty hand, elbow and knee strikes, nerve points, throws and sweeps, as well as the study of weapons; knife, stick and staff.

Djurus – rehearsed sequences of movement designed to train the body to express efficient power, balance and control.

Sambuts – partnered movements designed to develop correct body alignment, mechanics and sequential striking points.

Tendjekan - attack combinations.

Langkhas - leg and footwork patterns for the development of strong and efficient body alignment and support.

Sambutans - counter-for-counter drills for the development of timing, speed and reflexes while maintaining continually flowing motion.

Kembangen - freeform fighting movement - referred to as the war dance.


Natural Boxing Kung Fu

An elite Qigong practice based on ancient Taoist philosophy. Power is generated from graceful, flowing movements which rapidly cultivate superior levels of health as well as devastating freeform fighting ability.

Rubber boxing - there is a casually ruthless quality to this style of boxing which makes it very hard to comprehend logically, let alone - to counter physically. Almost always playful in combat yet with violent intent.

Lightning elbow - multi dimensional elbow system, emit the power of a bullet, striking six times a second.

Steel Conditioning - develop the necessary conditioning to absorb incoming strikes to the body as well as deliver effective power. Contracting movements which store energy develop explosive actions which release a shockwave of force.
